Spend the day working with Ray Bidegain to learn the skills needed to use studio strobe lighting equipment as a film photographer.  Working with strobe lighting as a film photographer requires special attention to exposure and light balance. There is no digital " proofing " of the setup to see what is happening with the lights so you will need to rely on metering and close observation.  We will work with models while we explore the methods and techniques. Topics we will cover include:

  • Metering for correct exposure and balance

  • Lighting patterns

  • Light modifiers, working with what you have.

  • On being intentional with your studio portrait photography

  • Class size limited to 5 students
