The still life photograph is both beautiful and meaningful. Come spend a day in the studio with Ray Bidegain exploring this historic and fascinating genre of photography. Topic will include:

  • Subject matter, finding objects to photograph that have meaning for both the maker and the viewer.

  • Lighting for drama and interest.

  • Thinking about color or black and white.

  • Thinking about process and final presentation.

  • Using the availability of the still life as a way to work through a block or other obstacles to making your work as an artist.
